ASE is still full of bugs that sadly now will probably never get fixed since they no longer support the game. Why would anyone buy ASA if it’s an unplayable mess. There’s going to be a lot of people like myself that will wait and see if the game improves before they buy a ps5 to play it.

Just tame something big so you can step on them.

People need the giant chicken since there’s no Maewings. The whale will end up in Crystal Isles, where he can bask in the sun.

Must be why I’m seeing more people come back to ASE, or they don’t like the new cryo system.

Play PVE, you can probably report this guy for abuse, or tell him you will if he doesn’t leave you alone.

Well I’m still on ASE, on the island map I would find Tek Rexes in the redwoods by the river. They should be on ASA if it’s a copy of the original map, or were these things released later on? I wasn’t playing ASE from the very beginning.

High health Tek Rexes with good saddles work well for boss fights. Megatheriums for broodmother, Therizinos with Tek Rexes for Dragon boss and one Yuti.

If you’re trying to tame an oviraptor, the bigger the egg the faster it takes, like one Giga egg. But I’ve tamed one using only dodo eggs, it just takes longer.

The Tek Rex is a lot better, that’s what we found from breeding both kinds.

I’m on the Fjordur map, but I’m sure you’ll make friends quickly on the island map. Ask people if you can join them on cave adventures or the boss fights, that’s the best way to get to know the people on your server. Unfortunately the in game chat is horrible and static, so you’re best to do party chats on Psn.

The official ASE servers were taken down. You now have to either rent a server or join someone that has an open server. There is a server cluster that’s free to join, 454,455 and 456.

Some people use pillars and ceiling tiles to get even with foundations, but that’s not always perfect either. Building on the flattest ground possible, usually on the beaches is the easiest in ASE. There are quite a few YouTube videos on building in Ark if you want something a little fancier.

Some people keep asking for hardcore, to me the cryopods are now hardcore mode, lol. I’m sure they plan to nerf a lot of things just to please that 1% of the players that want that extra challenge.
